The Black Eyed Peas at American Airlines Arena, Saturday, Feburary 6 at 7:30 p.m.
It's been 20 years since The Black Eyed formed as a peace-promoting alternative to the gangsta rap that was dominating West Coast hip-hop music in the early 90s. In those two decades, the Peas have become hit-making darlings and a worldwide sensation. They rocked the stage at the Grammy Awards show last Sunday night, and even picked up three awards for their most recent release The E.N.D. Now, you can experience the the Peas right here in South Florida; the group performs this Saturday in Miami. Get ready to party to songs you surely know well as BEP's 5th studio album The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies) features the hits "Boom Boom Pow", "I Gotta Feelin", "Meet me Halfway" and "Imma Be".

Lucia di Lammermoor at Broward Center for the Performing Arts, Thursday and Saturday, February 4 and 6, 8 p.m.
After an exciting NFL season, filled with nearly undefeated teams and edge-of-your-seat games that often came down to a single play in overtime (sorry Brett Favre), it's time to take a second look at the teams and players who made the regular and post-season such a thrill for football fans. Dolfans could complain about a lot (heck, even our home stadium's name has already changed from Landshark Stadium to Sun Life Stadium), but South Floridians have a lot to celebrate. The Super Bowl will land in Miami this weekend, bringing with it tons of excitement and peripheral entertainment that's a boost to South Florida's economy and calendar of weekly events.
Super Bowl 2010 at Sun Life Stadium, Sunday, February 7 at 6 p.m.
It's been a long, hard fight for both the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts to earn the chance to go head to head for the title of Super Bowl champions. Though both teams started off the with undefeated seasons (Saints for 13 games and Colts for 14 games), the Colts pounded their way to the Super Bowl with a clean defeat of the the Jets last week while the Saints squeezed in with a dramatic field goal to beat out the Minnesota Vikings in overtime. Watch top NFL quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Drew Brees drive each other's respective teams back toward the endzone on February 7 at 6 p.m. Regardless of who you're rooting for in this game, The Super Bowl is going to be killer this year! A lucky few will actually gain access to Sun Life Stadium for this event, but there will be plenty of local places to participate in the energy that the Super Bowl will bring to South Florida.

Wellness Weekends - Yoga at Esplanade Park in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Saturdays at 10 a.m.
The New River slowly winds its way around the bend next to Esplanade Park. Theatergoers' voices are a distant hum and indistinct now that you are transcending the plane of reality to which they belong. Well, maybe that's a bit strong. Enlightenment takes more than a bit of work, but you'll never get there if you don't start by striking a pose. Yoga is so expensive, right? Wah! Wah! Wah! You can no longer use your thin wallet as an excuse for failing to nurture your body and soul. There's a free outdoor yoga class in Fort Lauderdale where you can take your first stretch toward centering yourself in this ceaselessly chaotic world.
Hatha Yoga instructor Trudy Edebes of Satori Yoga shows up at Esplanade Park at 10 a.m. every Saturday to engage locals in the practice. The class is open to all ages and fitness levels. See Intown 411's Wellness Weekends listing for venue and additional information.
It's possible to spend your entire vacation in Fort Lauderdale without having the chance to see the city at its best. Bahia Cabana is exactly what a Fort Lauderdale hangout is supposed to be. The dockside restaurant and bar sits on the southern edge of the historic Bahia Mar marina, the former military site for which the city was named. The restaurant and bar serves up frozen drinks, cold beer, seafood, burgers and sandwiches for a reasonable price. The crowd is happy-go-lucky every night of the week; it’s hard to say whether it’s the boaters (yes, the place has free docking for diners) or the beach goers (yes, it’s located right across the street from the Atlantic Ocean) that keep the spirits light at Bahia Cabana. Either way, this place is tops for lunch during a day of boating, kicking off a night out with friends, a quiet date or watching the sun set over Fort Lauderdale.
Specials: Happy hour 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. daily
