Last Friday night when I got back into town, Sweet Bronco picked me up from the airport and we went to the IWAN afterparty for the Artserve Red Eye event. What an interesting assortment of people IWAN draws to its events! We watched the Microdots and chatted with Garo and Yvonne, who run IWAN, Renda Writer, who's making a splash with his WeMerge magazine, Marc Solomon, a local musician who's bringing his dreamy sounds and stylish top hats to all of the major local venues. Good times.

It makes Moodvane very happy to see so many movers and shakers mingling in this culture-first Lauderdale venue. Nothing fosters community like face time, and I respect IWAN for bringing to life a venue that affords us that opportunity.
