I'm sure that Moodvane readers are not surprised to learn that I plan to attend the Stonefox CD release party this Thursday night at Propaganda in Lake Worth. The band will officially release its second album Back on the Wire with a little help from supporting acts Surfer Blood and Atlanta-based band Dead Rabbits.

Last Friday night when I got back into town, Sweet Bronco picked me up from the airport and we went to the IWAN afterparty for the Artserve Red Eye event. What an interesting assortment of people IWAN draws to its events! We watched the Microdots and chatted with Garo and Yvonne, who run IWAN, Renda Writer, who's making a splash with his WeMerge magazine, Marc Solomon, a local musician who's bringing his dreamy sounds and stylish top hats to all of the major local venues. Good times.
