February 6th and 7th- two races, one short track, and one cross country. The difference in the two races is time and effort. The short track (or, STXC) is exactly that- a short track. Fifteen minutes on a short track that has 75% dirt road, and 25% singletrack (or trail). This makes for a much higher intensity output AND it makes for a much more spectator-friendly race to watch. Racer's pass by the crowd more times and more often- making moves, attacking, reacting- RACING!!!
